One of the setbacks I had throughout my spiritual journey was not trusting my “gut feelings” also known as our intuition. The feelings or insight that turned out to be right, yet you were dismissive thinking it is all in your mind. The irony is that literally it is all in your mind, more specifically in your very core beingness! So why is it hard for humanity to trust our own knowingness? What prevents humanity from looking inside ourselves for answers that your Higher-Self knows to be true?

In sharing my experience(s) with the lack of trust in self, I struggled with distancing myself from what others had to say. Their input from their own experiences were either programmed into my subconscious mind or I somehow absorbed it from television, all forms of media, with a combination of my upbringing amongst family or friends (of course unknowingly). The sure reality is that this is their experience; perhaps even their perspective based on their experiences, keyword “their”. However, this is not to say we are not to listen or engage in the shared experience because we are here on Earth to learn and with that comes shared experiences. When it is all said and done you are to follow through with what feels right to you! There have been instances where I thought I was following my intuition, but the fact of the matter is that I was obliging to my ego, which is another conversation for another time, probably sooner rather than later.

However, I will tell you when you follow your intuition it is the feelings you get in the pit of stomach that just feels like you are supposed to act or not act. I would be remised if I did not also state that your intuition is pulling from your Higher-Self, Source Prime Creator, and/or your spiritual team. Sometimes these feelings can be subtle which requires one to really be attuned to hear your inner guidance.

We all have intuition in which some have a stronger connection to their intuition as if they were born into this reality already so tapped in. Whereas others who need a little push to believe in their intuition with practice building up that trust factor with self; this is the category I fall in just like many others. One of the ways I was able to learn to trust my intuition more was to remove myself from the analytics. I would follow the first instinctive feeling I received that came naturally before the ego got a foothold. There are also moments when I needed time to discern; for that I recommend meditation and/or mindfulness. This allows you to intentionally seek council from within by removing the potential outside disturbances that may affect your ability to trust what is trying to funnel its way from your heart to the forefront of your intuition. I assure you this method will never let you down!

I even suggest making it fun as I have done by turning this into a game with friends and family, especially during holidays or for a good old fashion game night! You will need flashcards with simple shapes and/or pictures; if your creativity is unlocked perhaps you can draw your own images to make it even more interesting! You want to separate into two teams; have someone from the same team pull a flashcard and the card puller holds the card to allow the players from the same team use their intuition to yell out what is on the card. The team that has the most correct intuitive answers wins the game. In applying my own intuition…LOL I must say my family did more guessing rather than using their intuition; but this could also be attributed to their claircognizant (clear knowing) and clairsentient (clear feeling) abilities. This is also a great fun game for kids, as I played this with my nieces and nephews. What better way to teach the younger souls that have incarnated in this time space continuum how to utilize their intuition and connectivity to their Higher-Self.

Trusting your intuition is beneficial in ways you may not be able to perceive with the human mind yet embrace knowing that your intuition is a spiritual gift; a true gift no matter how big or small that is given from the heart meant to be enjoyed and to enhance your quality of life.

Please believe me that you deserve and earned this spiritual gift called intuition! Begin to trust your intuition daily as it will come easier to do the more you trust. You will soon find out the more you trust your intuition, the more your spiritual gifts start to unlock. You would instantly know and trust why you have come to Earth to participate in her ascension because you will have cracked the code to your Souls Purpose!

Awaken from illusions so that you may embrace a place of Acceptance as this will most certainly bring calmness to the heart and stillness of the mind.
