What are Light Points?

Light Points are the platform’s internal reward currency, earned through your participation across the marketplace.

250 Light Points = $5 platform credit

Redeemable toward listing boosts, featured placement credits, and platform-issued promotional opportunities.

How Light Points are earned

These apply across all roles unless otherwise specified.

per completed transaction

A sale, a session, or a digital purchase.

3Light Points
per verified 5-star review

The review must be verified against a real transaction.

25Light Points
per successful referral

Awarded once the person you referred completes their first transaction.

15Light Points
per quarter of consistency

Active listings, no unresolved disputes, and a maintained 4+ rating.

The rules, plainly

Light Points are a recognition system, not a currency. These limits keep it fair and sustainable.

No cash value

Light Points cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for money, and are non-transferable between accounts.

500 points monthly cap

The most you can earn in a month, excluding milestone bonuses such as the loyalty reward.

Expire after 12 months of inactivity

An account is inactive when there are no completed purchases, sales, or sessions within a 12-month period.

Held to good faith

Points may be withheld, frozen, or revoked in cases of misuse, abuse, manipulation, excessive reciprocal transactions, or refunded and disputed orders.

Badges are publicly displayed and mark real milestones in your journey. Each path below belongs to a role, and progression requires both the milestone and positive alignment.

Referrals are optional. They earn Light Points, but they are not required for general badge progression. Only select advanced badges include a referral milestone, to reflect expanded contribution to the platform.

Alignment tracking

An internal system that supports fair progression. It is not publicly visible, and exists to protect the integrity of the platform. It may consider:

  • Profile completion
  • Response time
  • Review quality
  • Dispute history
  • Engagement and consistency

12-month loyalty recognition

Sustained, aligned participation is recognised directly.

  • 100 Light Point bonus, excluded from the monthly cap
  • Founding Year badge enhancement
  • 30-day grace period for temporary metric dips
